Make Something New

For those wondering how I made the mustache rainbow cake:

jess-like-a-b0ss:

  1. I just got regular white cake mix and mixed it with all the things it says on the box (like oil, eggs, water). 
  2. Then I separated the white batter into 6 mugs (you could use bowls if you like) for each color. 
  3. After that I just added and mixed in the food coloring/gel food color to each of the mugs (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple). 
  4. Take turns pouring (I used more of a “paint splatter” method) some of the different colored batter into the cake mold.
  5. Once you’re done with each color, bake, cool, and top with frosting/icing.
  6. ENJOY YOUR RAINBOW CAKE! :D
